My philosophy and what I've found to work best is to target a single "primary" term per page. Targeting multiple terms per page reduces your chances for organic success. To each his own!

Only one search term per page??? Yeah you are write, it should not be too many, but there should be 2 search terms per page. Meta description is the thing people going to see in SERPs, so it is very important. I think you have written very good article. You have covered almost everything about on-page optimization including image optimization.

I'm often confused because there are so many SEO tips that will be useful to my websites. I use some but the general rule of the thumb that I always follow is--continue producing original articles. 'Content is king,' as my first mentor always says. But I've bookmarked this page because I'd like to include this to my references. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent tips on ONSite optimization for any seo starter. I believe you have forgot the naming of images / urls with relevant keywords and use of style sheets to feed clear content to the crawlers.

Great article all the same..

Cheers
