Until you out-rank Matt Cutts…
Did you know that you are currently reading one of the Top 100 Social Media, Internet Marketing & SEO Blogs of 2012? In fact – it’s one of the top 43! According to Cision Media, this blog ranks #43 on the list, which means we’re up 42 spots from #85 last year. I don’t really care what number we are – I think it’s cool that Cision found us all by themselves 2 years in a row and that our stock is climbing.
How are the blogs ranked? You can read about the ranking process in detail on Cision’s page but it essentially boils down to Web audience metrics from Compete.com as well as Cision’s own data. Just to close the loop, I’ll point out that Matt Cutts is down 16 spots to #54 – so the rankings are OBVIOUSLY completely legit, right? :)
