Auditing & Evaluating Web Sites – SEO Audits
I made a “SEO audits” post on the SEMpdx blog asking my fellow search marketers to give us their opinion of the first things they look at when evaluating Web pages. We need to cover the top SEO factors at our Hot Seat events so that the participants know exactly what we’re talking about during their site critiques, and why they are important.
So please – if you want to voice your opinion, check out the post and give me your two cents. You’ll get a mighty powerful link out of the SEMpdx blog!
Writing the post got me to thinking that I should at least talk about the Amplify Interactive SEO audit process. When we evaluate Web sites we do a thorough SEO audit where of course we look for SEO problems that need to be addressed, and assets that we can leverage in our campaign. But we also delve into some things that I think are equally important & necessary. Call to action immediately comes to mind. Is every page goal-oriented? Do your visitors know what to do next?
So – what do you look for? Feel free to comment here or on the SEMpdx blog
