Ben Lloyd is among a handful of people who realized in the early 2000s that there were enough people in Portland in search engine optimization to fill a small restaurant, or, start a professional organization. SEMpdx was formed.

After working at a few agencies, Ben founded Amplify Interactive in 2003 and hasn't looked back since.
