Crawl frequency has little to do with ranking. Good keyword rich content, site layout & navigation and linkability will get you top placement.
Many searchers prefer graphics over CSS text and studies have shown that graphics generate more clicks. The key is have balance.
Beware - Web 2.0 hasn’t been around long enough to accurately test & analyze results.
