Search Results Sent to Your Phone
Published by Christian | Filed under Search Industry
Although this tool has been around for quite awhile, I thought I’d share anyway. It’s a nifty tool that people can use if they don’t have a cell phone with web browsing capabilities. I know it has helped me several times when I’ve been in a pinch:
Give Google a text message & they’ll text you back results.
The most recent occasion this has come in handy was when I was with some friends in Seattle. We were looking for a bowling alley but weren’t sure where to find one. I whipped out my phone, inputted “Bowling Alleys Seattle WA” as a text message & sent it to G-O-O-G-L-E (466453). Within a minute or two Google sent me back text messages with the results.
Luckily we were able to find an alley & I bowled the highest non-Wii Sports bowling score I’ve ever rolled - 189.
You can read about this handy-dandy tool at the Google Mobile website.
