Online Marketing Assistant

Amplify Interactive is looking for an Online Marketing Assistant. The online marketing assistant will be responsible for supporting the account services team on client account work as well as some general administrative office work. The online marketing assistant will be assisting the account team with pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, social media campaigns, search engine optimization and Web analytics.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year interactive marketing experience, excellent communication skills, is extremely proficient in Microsoft Office, has writing experience (blogging, journalism, etc). You will have no problem spending a couple of hours doing research online, then working with data in spreadsheets, then shifting gears and writing… all in a day’s work.

About You

  • 1+ years experience with search and or social marketing
    • Writing, design or development experience is a plus
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Computer Science or MIS or related disciplines
  • Extreme proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Master of everything online/social – we will not have to teach you how Twitter works
  • Highly organized
  • Writing skills
  • Be able to take a task and work on it independently through to completion… but know when to ask questions

To sum it all up – you are driven to become an expert in search engine & social media marketing, you’re a little analytical, well-spoken, and a little creative, and you are willing to roll up your sleeves and make a contribution.

Application Process:

You MUST follow this process before you’ll be considered for the job. Read carefully:

      3. The name of our Chief Morale Officer
      4. We wrote a blog post about how to win at SEO. What do you need to know in order to win at SEO? And what Website/tool can you use to find out?
      5. Extra credit: include a link(s) to your site – blog/tumblr/etc. We want to get to know you and/or your style a little.

Yep – it’s a scavenger hunt. We want to know you can follow directions and want the job. Get after it and make us proud!
