All - thanks for the comments... this is a popular post topic I guess! :) FYI - I had some neat screen shots in there too, but couldn't get the format right. Hopefully Christian can help me out when he's back in the office tomorrow.

Some replies for you:

At Adam - yeah, those are cool tools. Glad you liked them too

At Brian - thanks for the heads up, fixed the link

At Chava - glad you found it useful. Do you have an account already? Am I following you? looking forward to your tweets

At Christopher - Good point about the picture. I'm hoping that my "fill out your profile" comment covers the picture as well... :) Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if Twitter got acquired by one of those other services you mentioned... I don't see them really adding a ton of features until there's a monetization model... then again, Facebook can't seem to make any money but that doesn't appear to slow them down a bit. So who knows?

At the others - thanks for linking to us!

This is VERY helpful. Since I started my Twitter account I have had a hard time differentiating it from Facebook status updates. I've also found that most of my contacts do not use Twitter, how annoying!

I think one other annoyance that should be added along with no profile information is leaving picture as the default " o_0 " picture.

What do you think the future of Twitter will be? Will it stay as is or slowly add more networking function until it resembles a Facebook or LinkedIn style community?

this twitter primer ("twimer"?) was very helpful. I've been hearing all the buzz about tweeps being all aflutter over twitter and until this hadn't seen a good summary of its virtues and most common uses. Thanks for chirping thru all the twitter clutter -- maybe i'll tweet now.

Hi Ben, thanks for the article.

There is an error on the Qwitter link. It should be http://useqwitter.com. It was also incorrect on the PBwiki page, I already fixed it there.
